I think wikis are great way of collecting up and then sharing information. I looked at several library wikis and found that Princeton Library wikis nicest to use. It is small and for reviews of books. Wikis can be used in many ways in libraries but some examples could be In Manukau Libraries we can have wiki for staff to access and customers to use to post reviews about books and linking that to library catalogue. It will help customers to choose books on catalogue.
When I looked libraryforlife.org/subjectguides/ that was interesting as well. Our Libraries can have wiki like that which can include subject headings for Fiction-Crime, Historical, NZ fiction, General Fiction, Adventure, Science Fiction, YA fiction, Children Fiction and Nonfiction-computers, Cooking, Health, History, Sports, Science.
